This innovative integration, based on Cerence’s Chat Pro product, promises a conversational in-car experience with accessibility across models such as the ID.7, ID.4, ID.5, ID.3, Tiguan, Passat, and Golf. By providing hands-free, conversational communication and access to vehicle-specific information, Volkswagen's ChatGPT integration will transform the standard for in-car interactions.

This collaboration with Amazon showcases the capabilities of LLMs in providing more human-like interactions and responses. Furthermore, BMW aims to elevate in-car entertainment by integrating a video app into BMW Operating Systems 8.5 and 9

Collaborating with XPERI, Inc., BMW optimizes the TiVo Operating System for in-vehicle video streaming, providing users with a diverse range of content, including live channels and on-demand media libraries. 

This feature initially debuts in the BMW 7 Series and other luxury-class models, with plans for expansion to additional models and countries.
